Hi Angela, Yes we do use a detergent prior to the rinse, this is left to dwell for 5-20 minutes depending on how dirty the house is and what materials the house is made from, we then choose the best pressure to use on the house for the rinse. Our house is 3 bedroom, mostly single story except 2 walls are high as garage is under. Also what area does the wash of paths cover and how much for gutter clean at the same time? Thanks
