I have a couple of fillings that need replaced, but would like my teeth whitened before I get them replaced. Are there any problems that may arise if the gel gets in to the tooth?

Teeth whitening is recommended prior to getting your fillings replaced so that your dentist can match the new filling colour to your new coloured teeth. However that is only if you know there is no exposed holes or decay & nothing is giving you grief. If this area is giving you grief then pls go & get them fixed first & ask your dentist to do them a little bit lighter than your current colour.
Sometimes if you have a little hole that is visible we can cover it with gum barrier wax so that the gel doesnt get into the hole.
