It's important to understand the roof is a treatment. It gets sprayed with the treatment agent which kills moss, algae and lichen. The matter is then rinsed away as a function of rain. Roofs are generally managed that way by convention unless the plan is to paint it. In that instance, it's typical to pressure clean. Hope that helps.

Keen on one of these deals, but our roof water drains into a water tank for household use (including drinking). Does the roof treatment affect the water in any adverse way?

Craig from Green Agenda Ltd commented over 10 years ago. Chris: the roof treatment is safe but it will make your water taste a bit tainted. The solutiuon is to leave the tanks disconnected for three rains to gp across the roof before reconnecting.

I was about to buy this offer but noted in the conditions that cedar houses are excluded. We have a single level 4 bedroom house with a mixture of concrete and wood (not sure what type) board exterior cladding. Is this covered by the deal or is the wash not appropriate for this type of exterior?
