Andrew Ross commented over 9 years ago. From what I can tell.. Quickflix is similar to Netflix. You need access to the internet..whether directly or through WIFI with your eg computer or laptop. You can then use your connection WIFI to view Quickflx on your smart TV or smartphone or tablet or other viewable WIFI defice. Im with Netflix.. I am trying to find out how much Quickflix is in comparason. If you watch multiple movies etc its good for a small monthly fee.

To confirm: yes, you need WiFi and you need a compatible device of some kind to watch on, but Quickflix has a really wide range of devices/apps and there’s the website as well. There are no hidden fees – your first month is free and you start paying after that. If you want to opt out at any time during the free month, you just cancel your subscription in the My Account section of the website and don’t pay anything. Finally, unlike the other subscription services, Quickflix also offers brand new release movies to rent. When you sign up with this deal, you’ll also get a $10 credit to watch a new release movie! So, if you want to watch our subscription service, you don’t need to pay anything more than the monthly fee. If you want to rent new release movies on top of that (and no other subscription service has new release movies), then they cost $6.99. You can try one with your $10 credit if you take up this offer.

Hi Louisa, you can cancel online at any time, yes. As well as subscription movies, we also offer brand new release movies as pay-per-views, so those will certainly be newer than Netflix movies. In terms of the subscription movies, I think it would be best to have a look through the catalogue and see what takes your fancy!

Joan from Quickflix commented over 9 years ago. Hi Irene, if you sign up you get the first month free. You can cancel online at any time during the first month and not pay anything. Otherwise, after your first month you become a paying subscriber. You also get a $10 credit, which you can use to rent a new release movie ($6.99) – the point here is that you can’t put new release movies into a subscription catalogue, so you won’t find these new release movies on any other subscription service for at least 6 months, maybe more.
