kevin Fraher commented over 8 years ago. I have a will with a trustee company and they charge a percentage of the value of my estate when I die. I want to get a new will and move away from them. Can I just use Justly? Do I have to tell them?
Emma from GrabOne commented over 8 years ago. Morning Kevin :)
Thanks for your interest in this one. The Justly Team will be online soon to help you.
Jenny from Justly commented over 8 years ago. Hi Kevin. Yes, you can use Justly to create a new will that is legally valid and doesn't include any requirement to pay a percentage of your estate to have your will administered. Your Justly will automatically revokes (cancels) your previous will and you will not need to notify the trustee company.
Aleesha Stone commented over 8 years ago. I have just purchased a voucher for myself and for my husband. I went online and signed up for myself and entered the grabone code as required and then I was told I still had to pay a further $24.50? Am confused as to why this is happening as I thought that it was $24.50 only
Jenny from Justly commented over 8 years ago. Hi Aleesha. Thank you for your question. It is only $24.50. Please use the promo code and try the promo code again. It will not charge you extra. Any issues please let me know or email support@justly.co.nz
Maree Briggs commented over 8 years ago. Is this just for writing a will, then you have to go to a lawyer afterwards? Or is this the full costs for having a will drawn up for one person
Emma from GrabOne commented over 8 years ago. Hey Maree :)
The Justly Team will be back soon to help you :)
Jenny from Justly commented over 8 years ago. Hi Maree, thanks for your query. This is for a full, legally valid will to be drawn up for one person. You do not need to see a lawyer to do a will. However if you wish for a lawyer to review your document or ask Q&As for complex situations, you can collaborate with a lawyer online for a fixed fee with us. We have a nationwide network of law firms within our partnered network for you to choose from at www.justly.co.nz. This deal is the full cost for a DIY will.
Jenny from Justly commented over 8 years ago. Hi Maree. This deal is to create your own fully valid will without a lawyer. If you'd like to work with a lawyer for an additional fee, those fixed fees are on our website.
Marion Hamilton commented over 8 years ago. Does this will need to be signed and your signature witnessed by two people? is this not a requirement of a will?
Emma from GrabOne commented over 8 years ago. The Justly Team will be back later this morning to confirm the details on this for you Marion - have a great day :)
Jenny from Justly commented over 8 years ago. Hi Marion - yes a valid will needs to signed and witnessed by two people. The witnesses can be anyone over the age of 18, so long as they are not a beneficiary of the will. Thanks.
Tania Price commented over 8 years ago. Hi my mum doesn't have a will yet and this seems very cheap way to do it. Do you send the paper form will out to her? So all she does is fill it out online and then you send it to her is that right? And it's totally legal? Can you access the document at another time if need be? Thanks.

Jenny from Justly commented over 8 years ago. Hi Tania. Yes this is the full cost for a legally valid will. When she has completed it online she can print it herself, sign and keep it somewhere safe. She can also scan or photograph and upload the pages to Justly so there is both a paper and digital copy. We have live support to help anytime so if it is particularly inconvenient for her to print it we could print and send to her.
All inputs are saved so she can edit the document for 30 days after payment. Thanks!
