Alan Stokes commented over 3 years ago. I experienced this Wild West Kayaking a few years ago with my kids, and thoroughly recommend it, a really memorable experience. We even saw flying fish, hawks flying around, as we went up the river, stopped off in a lush meadow for a picnic lunch, it was like being in the wilderness in parts, very varied part of the river, which nmeandered through valleys, past farms, through bush etc. This is really an experience well worth having with a group of friends or family. In fact I think it's time I did it again. John who was our guide was really helpful, informative & hospitable. So good that I think we did a write up in our tourist publication Tourist Times as 'find of the month'
