This trip departs Paihia at 10am, Russell at 10.10am until 30 September 2017. From 1 October there will be two daily departure times; Paihia at 9.00am and 1.30pm or Russel 9.10am and 1.40pm. The cruise is approx 4.5 hours in duration and includes a 90 minute island stopover :)

Thank you for the email & question. Dolphins are wild mammals of course, and can be unpredictable, but on our Discover the Bay Cruise, we have a high chance of seeing and interacting with them. Over 90% of our cruises will see them, but we cant be 100% sure - but we do offer a Dolphin Viewing Guarantee - so if we don't see them, we will give you a ticket to return and try again another day! Yes we have space today for 4 as well. Always pays to check with Reservations if unsure. Happy Exploring!

David Macmillan commented over 8 years ago. Excellent experience. We went on this last Tuesday and we saw heaps of dolphins; Pod of common dolphins and a couple bottle nose, sea lions. The weather was fine so we went through the hole in the rock. The lunch was delicious. Overall, a fantastic trip.

I leave the United States on Tuesday Oct 10. Will my grabone order be processed immediately so I can book the trip on Explore group's website using a grabone code from my purchase for the discount on Monday before I leave? Do I have to print the coupon to use it?

Thanks for the great feedback - what a great way to start the school holidays! Hope you can come back and enjoy our facility at Otehei Bay this summer, with daily ferry to/from the island from December till late March - you can simply relax, enjoy lunch or dinner packages, walks, a new waka experience or simply relax with a beer in a bean chair!

Thanks for the question - as much as I love little dogs, I am sorry but we are unable to allow them on board with Explore or to our island escape! Although open to the public, the native wildlife and bird restoration on the island is important. We hope you understand. We would love to see you and your family out there with us thought.

The morning trips tend to be more popular, so I would suggest you contact our team at our sales office in Paihia the day before you travel to check which timing would be better for you 9am or 2pm. jacky hobbs commented over 8 years ago. If I buy 2 vouchers, book a trip and it is cancelled due to weather would I be entitled to receive a refund? Arranging a different day would not be possible because of the short time we have in the area and other events planned. Thank you.
