Trisha Knox commented over 7 years ago. Hi there, I know that you mention 10 as being a good age, but have you done this for younger kids? I'm thinking about 9 year olds. Also, if it was a kids party is the parent supervisor counted as one of the people?

Thank you for getting in touch. Yes we have had younger children playing our games, and kids are normally going well in our rooms.- taking instructions well, they work in a team, they try and investigate everything, and not shy to communicate with each other :)

We don't request an adult's supervision, as we are monitoring the kids over the cameras at the whole time, and so we help them accomplishing the game as well as we prevent any dangerous activities. However, there are no objects in our rooms, that could cause injuries at all.
Parents can always feel free to join the game to play, but supervision as such won't be necessary.

Emma Cameron commented over 7 years ago. Hi. Are there any restrictions on when these coupons can be used (e.g. not on weekends, not on Fridays etc)? Are you quite solidly booked on weekends in the next few weeks or do you have a good amount of spaces?

Also - on your website you say that the recommended size of a group for the LAB (which this voucher is restricted to) is 2-4 players, but you are selling vouchers for up to 8 people... 8 is twice the maximum recommended number. Do you stand by your recommendation that 2-4 is best? If so, how do you think 6 would work?

The Lab is suitable for 2-8 players, it is possible you found an out of date information on our website, we since fixed it.
An ideal team size is 2 to 8, we received great feedback on this room, regardless of the team size.

Yes, the vouchers are for the Lab only, but we have changed it around in December.
The Vault is going for full price currently.

I was possibly looking at buying vouchers for our team of 16 who are travelling to Wellington from Auckland next week. I am assuming you only have 1 room so we wouldn't be able to do it at the same time. Is this correct? Would it be possible to buy 2 vouchers for 8 but do the Vault instead?

This Grabone voucher was designed to encourage smaller teams to come and play the smaller of our two rooms, hence why the discount can only be used for the Lab scenario (suitable for teams of 2-8 people). You are more than welcome to purchase 2 vouchers to cover your team of 16, but they will have to be split in half and play the Lab one half after the other.

If you would like all 16 people to play together, we can happily book you in for our Vault scenario, which will be $40 per person including GST. However, as you are a big team, we can offer a group discount of 10% off your total price.
