Ilse Snyckers commented 11 months ago. hi, my 3 1/2 year old loves working with dad in the kitchen. Could he bring her along/would there be a child rate?
Sunil Kishan commented 11 months ago. The $25 voucher is for one class - what all does it include? i.e. ingredients?
additionally what types of cheese would you teach in that one lesson or do you recommend getting 2-3 vouchers to learn how to make different kinds of cheese?
Wendy Pearce commented 11 months ago. Hello, please can we have more detail about the class ie time, how long, age it is suitable for? Thanks.
Winnie Ho commented 11 months ago. Hi, are they held in the mornings or afternoons; hands-on or demonstration; and do you take children, age 10 and 12?
Kelly from Mad Millie commented 11 months ago. Hi guys, the deal today is for a demonstration style class which takes about 90 minutes - 2 hours. This covers mozarella and ricotta and teaches you the essentials of home cheesemaking. You are welcome to attend more than one class however people often find that this is enough to get them started. We also have cheese making kits available on the day at a discounted rate if you would like to purchase. They can be held in the morning or afternoon, usually at 10.30 am and or 1.30pm although our class on the 22nd of July is at 2pm. All ages are welcome so long as they are not a disruption to other attendees - if you were sure your 3 year old could sit through the session they would be welcome at no extra cost, just let me know when you make your booking. 10 and 12 year olds would be fine but you would need to purchase vouchers for them.
Jo Leung commented 11 months ago. Hi there, so just to be clear, if we attend the demonstration we do not actually get to make our own cheese. It is more about watching you take us through the steps of making cheese.
Kelly from Mad Millie commented 11 months ago. That is correct, I do run a hands on class but we are unable to offer this level of discount due to the cost of milk. The demo style class will teach you how to make ricotta and mozarella but the skills are important for many other cheese types. Usually when I make the mozarella there is an option to come up and have a go at the stretching part of the process.
