I found it in the Rotorua-Taupo area where I was hoping it would be a lake cruise, but when I clicked on it I found it was a Bay of Plenty cruise. Could it be re-categorised to be a Bay of Plenty area deal?

The deal is for the school holidays, 24th september to 09th October everyday.
Normally a cruise and drink option is upto $42 per adult. $30 cruise and any drink upto $12 adult.

You would need to purchase the deal for two and then pay standard price for the third - standard adult pricing is $30 for the cruise then additional costs for drinks :)

see on the notice board by the wharf that it would have only cost us $60.00 at full
price. $2.00 is not much of a saving!! Certainly not worth the effort of visiting
The Mount (from Rotorua) to fit in with the limited availability time.

The $60 standard pricing does not include the drink each which has a maximum value of $24. Good to hear you enjoyed the trip :)

coffee. $12?? No offer of refill. No commentary; no wildlife; departed 10 minutes late - return and off launch after 50 minutes.

We make offers on forums like Grabone so public can get a deal better than normal prices. You don't get it free, but it's an offer made with terms and clear conditions.
You have a choice of beverages, that's the deal. A cruise with a choice of beverages from the bar. You chose coffee, to get the coffee you have to ask for coffee, we don't assume you want coffee, maybe you want water or a cocktail? We can't produce a Grabone offer for every drink in our bar ... So you have the option to choose you drink.

Regarding wildlife. We have had the most amazing displays of wildlife you can imagine.. Seals ripping apart octopus, sharks leaping beside the boat, massive Southern Right whales cruising in super shallow water. Massive schools of stingray, pods of orcas, diving gannets, penguins all around us, leopard seals, massive schools of fish.. Do we see wildlife.. In abundance, and it's not something you witness from the couch, it's different everyday and some days in that hour that people are onboard there is not much going on.
We always do a commentary and my staff have pride in what they do.
