The Punehu Stream Cottage is a picturesque cottage set in 5 acres of land and just a short distance south of Opunake in Taranaki. They grow a small amount of lavender and distill the oil for further process.
About Punehu Stream Cottage:
This cottage is part of a working lavender farm which was established in the 1980's in a Dairy Factory. The factory was originally built in 1898. It has had a rich history and was converted to a private dwelling some 30 years ago. The current owner purchased it recently and converted some of the accommodation into farm-stay and bed and breakfast accommodation while still maintaining the lavender operation.
