The Introduction to Financial Trading Programme consists of three live one-hour lessons held over a period of one week, where no prior knowledge is required, making this the ideal starting point for anyone even remotely interested in learning about financial markets of all types, trading and investing, be it for themselves or as a profession. Lesson 1: The Financial Trading World Explained
When studying any subject matter it is first necessary to ask the questions of "who", "what", "where", "when" and "why". Our starting point in this highly enjoyable and interactive introductory programme is therefore the Five Ws, as they are an empirical method of questioning which give us the answers we need to master the "how", as in the "how-to" generate profits. Students will learn:
1. Who are the people involved in financial markets
2. What products can we trade
3. Where can we trade
4. When and -
5. Why might we actually trade
Lesson 2: The Tools of Financial Trading
Consultants, doctors, engineers, farmers, IT professionals, lawyers, pilots, property gurus, scientists and almost all other professions have their own tools, or better put have tools which they use in a unique manner, having been trained in how to do so. Financial traders and investors have theirs too.
In order to apply a trade or profession one must understand that industry and the available tools to them, only then can one truly master which tools to use, and exactly how, in any given situation.
This rewarding and clearly explained lesson will show the exact mechanics of trading and investing and therefore allow us to understand the tools available.
Lesson 3: Methods of Trading Successfully
There are several styles and techniques used to analyse and profit from financial markets, knowing the pros and cons of each is incredibly important, as this will allow the student to decide where they feel most comfortable. This lesson will therefore focus on explaining the major methods of modern day trading. Students will also be shown which information sources can be used to help them to specialize in their chosen trading instruments.
Finally, in order to have a solid understanding of financial markets, supply and demand and their impact on resulting price will be studied, in a manner, which even for the totally novice trader will make absolute sense, allowing students to transform this new found knowledge into actionable opportunities.
