  • Meet Epic Cycle Adventures at the end of the trail in Ongarue and they will shuttle you up to the halfway point at Piropiro. You will spend the day cycling the southern half of the trail down to your vehicle in Ongarue.
  • Our winters have many of those crisp, clear days which are perfect for cycling. You will need to dress warmly- it will be cold - but you will be rewarded with amazing views, huge suspension bridges and a sense of what it would have been like for the early pioneers logging this area.
  • While it is graded easy, it is still 42km and riders need to be confident of completing the ride in around five hours.
