This six-hour, one-day screen acting workshop will cover the basics of acting, including how to audition for commercials, the dos and don'ts of casting, how to approach a script, having an agent and what that actually means, screen protocol in New Zealand, the X factor of auditioning, using technical skills and making it fun, and understanding your level and energy onscreen. The 'power of the voice' class is held every Tuesday and is the place to develop a sharp voice and warm up for your auditions. A performer's voice is one of their most power tools of expression. As well as empowering you to own your inner truth and power, this class also helps you to improve on tone, pitch, resonance and clarity.

Course dates:

All adult workshops run - 10am to 5pm. All kids workshops run - 9am to 3pm. All teen workshops run 10am to 4.30pm.
