I had grand plans once upon a time of starting a restaurant. I thought I'd be a worthy opponent to challenge those other establishments that had been around for ages. 'Surely,' I thought, 'They've been around for so long that people are craving something new. No restaurant can maintain such a high standard for so long.' I gave up on my dream when it was pointed out to me that the MECCA Stonehouse has been around for ages and most certainly does maintain their reputation for quality. So much so, it recently won a spot in Metro Magazine's top restaurants of 2011 list. Must be alright then.

Today you can pay just $20 for a $40 food and beverage voucher to spend on anything whatever you wish at MECCA Stonehouse cafe or restaurant. 

MECCA Stonehouse is unbeatable in a lot of ways. You'll find it right on the beach in Mission Bay, it has spectacular views of the harbour looking out to Rangitoto Island, it's perfect for dining for all occasions, and the menu selection is to die for. The only restaurant in Mission Bay located on the beach side of the road making for unobstructed views of the ocean, MECCA Stonehouse prides itself on its two dining options: the restaurant inside the 1859 Anglican Mission House or the modern cafe built in the grounds of Mission House.
