You must be able to swim 200m (no wetsuit allowed), tread water for 10 minutes in water too deep to stand up, & be 15 years of age or older. Course involves home study, practical pool training (includes 200m swim) & practical open water training. Enrollment must be completed at the store at least 2 weeks prior to course commencement. Home study must be completed successfully before practical pool training & each portion must be completed for certification. A dive medical form must be completed on enrollment.
