About Haparanda:

Board the 70-foot classic schooner Haparanda and take in the beauty and diversity of the Waitemata Harbour from a whole new perspective – all the while totally immersed in luxury. Captained by Kiwi yachtsman Graeme Kendall, who was the first person to sale the Northwest passage solo while not stopping. An MNZM (Member of the New Zealand Order of Merit) is a highly experienced sailor who has sailed in many different parts of the world, including ocean racing. Set a sail to Bean Rock and take in the views of Rangitoto Island, Northern bays and the cityscape. The luxury schooner is complete with a spacious open-plan main saloon and a huge deck area, as well as a sumptuous interior crafted in beautiful teak and leather; climb aboard and enter a whole other world just moments from your doorstep. A cash bar is also available for refreshments during your afternoon sail.

Sailings run most Sundays, weather dependent, from 1.30pm until 3.00pm.
